[lojban] Re: Technical matters

Michal,

Lojban has about 7,000 words, making it one of the largest artificial
languages by far. However, it does not have a lot of specialist
jargon. English has hundreds of thousands of vocabulary words just in
its main dictionaries alone, with about 25,000 words added each year.
This is not counting specialist jargon, which is often a language unto
itself in each field. Most other languages for their jargon simply
speak the English jargon word or an adaptation of it. Lojban is like
this as well. What you might need to use is a borrowing, called a
fu'ivla. Look up "fu'ivla" in the language materials and it will teach
you how to integrate a word from other languages.
