That's a bit different. It could be something like:

   pa gerku cu ca'a zasti
   "One dog actually exists."

But if you want to say that there's only one dog, then:

   pa da gerku
   "There is exactly one thing that is a dog."

To say that Fido is the only dog, you can say:

  la fidos cu selte'i lo ka gerku
  "Fido is the only thing with the property of being a dog."

Or you could say:

   la fidos po'o cu gerku
   "Only Fido is a dog."
