Re: first attempt at a proto-dictionary outline
I don't think that either Esperanto list or omissions study is very high
priority. But I will need to justify to myself every word that gets left out
of the dictionary eventually (may not the first time around, though) that has
seen usage. The Esperanto list as is, is worth something - a place structure
base list would still be better, but I am looking for image as well as
usefulness, while recognizing that the time investment may be too high to
warrant the work until there is demand for non-English materials enough to
seriously contemplate publishing them on their own rather than as a piggyback
on an English-Lojban effort. But that may be a long time, unfortunately, and
we may have a chicken and egg syndrome where something will have to be done
to get non-English speakers involved. By far more important is the place
structure paper, and any other place structure analysis you think worthwhile
that might affect the germinative phase of the language (lujvo place structures
being anarea that will be highly affected by whatever you do, and that will
be the major growth area in the next few years).
