Grammar and Democracy

Hi, I hope you won't construe anything I've said on the list as
opposing the changes you've worked so hard on. Actually I supported your
effort to establish this alternative grammar in a private e-mail to
lojbab last summer.  I also very much applaud your efforts to set up a
tutoring facility with possible extensions on the www.  My concern about
your proposal only relates to the lack of democratic process in the
making of changes.
