www.amazon.com

Here's the scoop.

In roughly two to three weeks, assuming everything goes as it ought to, the
lojban book will be listed on www.amazon.com. Amazon will contact lojban
central during that time to confirm pricing, ISBN#, contact information,
discount to amazon, etc. When Lojban Central and Amazon have worked out all
this info, then one could order the reference grammer simply by going to
the amazon web site at www.amazon.com, searching by title, author or ISBN
number, and then ordering

At that point, persons with web pages could also provide the following link:

 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=0966028309

from their web page. This will link to the amazon order page, which is a
secure way to send credit card info if you are using NetScape Navigator 4.0
or the recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer.

In other words, anybody who stumbles upon the lojban web site could order
the book with a mouse click, some typing to fill in shipment address and
credit card info, another two clicks, and several days later, Cowan's book
appears in their mailbox.

Other people could also provide links to the lojban book order form on
their pages. All this is contingent, of course, on Lojban Central working
out the details with www.amazon.com; I let them know that people may want
to order the book through amazon, and gave all the contact info for lojban
central to them. They should be in touch with Lojban Central sometime soon.
