We're working on it (or I should say Veijo Vilva is). He is attempting to
put our old cassette recording online.

1) Skip to "Gaining Control" mode - the New Word Review Mode does not serve
the purpose we intended.
2) LogFlash is designed to be used daily, or as close to daily as possible,
especially the first time through the words.
3) Experience has shown that you will indeed have lots of trouble the first
time through the words, but that on later times through the words each
successive pass tends to cut your error rate approximately in half. Thus if
you get 50% on a New Word Lesson, you will likely get around 50% on your
Drop Back Lesson as well (s9ince you don't know the words), but then 75% on
the Recog 1 pile and 87.5% on the Recog 2 pile. If you do somewhat worse on
your New Word pile, the percentages adjust downward somewhat. You will likely
find that you have to limit the size of a DropBack lesson, but the words that
make it up to the top of the ladder you will remember much better (especially
for recognition).
