I think that the reason we don't update the status more often is that it
changes so seldom. Other than publishing the reference grammar, I
could have (and probably did) write the same thing 1-2 years ago. Well,
the cost impact of the refgrammar wasn't known until we got print
quotes a year ago, though we knew it would be expensive.
Monthly status reporting would be meaningless, and quarterly would be nearly
so.
Though I do say that the Lojban List activitiy has been picking up slowly as
people start to learn the language, and that in itself portends SOME
acceleration of activity.
