Newby stuff

Hi all.
Hi all.

I discovered Lojban about a week ago in one of my searches for linguistic
stuff on the net, and it struck me as rather an interesting concept. I've
been interested in conlangs for about two years, going as far as learning
Esperanto, but had never seen something like Lojban. So I decided to join
the Lojban mailing list with the hope of finding out more and maybe even
learning the language.

I Have a question: I'm blind and therefore purchasing the textbook would
be useless for me as the braille transcription service at my disposal
prioritises school and university texts. Is there a comprehensive grammar
and wordlist online, or even an electronic version of the text available
in ASCII, HTML or texinfo format?

Also, I heard that there is an ftp repository but haven't been able to
find the address for some reason. Would somebody please clear this up?

Thanks for being tolerant and I hope I can contribute interesting
discussion on the list.

Regards.

Ben
