Someone asked how to access IRC using EFNET, chanel #lojban tomorrow morning.
You will need a special program called a "client" to access IRC. These can
be found at the following URLs:
Windows: http://www.mirc.co.uk/get.html
Macintosh : http://www.ircle.com
Any system: http://www.wildstar.net/irc/clients/
These pages provide brief introductions to IRC:
http://www.irchelp.org/irchelp/new2irc.html
http://www.connected-media.com/IRC/tutorials.htm
We will be meeting specifically on the IRC EFNet. Some servers you might
try are:
irc.prison.net, irc.frontiernet.net, irc.lagged.org
There are other possible servers to use, but some IRC servers connect to
alternate networks, and you will not be able to find us there.
Once you manage to connect to the IRC network, join the channel named
"#lojban" !
