LogFest annual meeting

We have ended the annual meeting here at LogFest.  Not much new, except
that we have added 4 voting members.  I also called the meeting to order in
Lojban, in hopes of starting a trend %^)

Dave Twery was appointed to head a committee to look into setting up an
official home page distinct from Veijo's which is seen by many as a de
facto official site.  He will be seeking inputs and volunteers from the
community, as well as specific inputs from Veijo and others who have been
putting up web pages unofficially on our behalf.  I will let Dave post
further.

Nick Nicholas will be working on some formalisms and vocabulary to be used
if we decide to conduct more of our official meetings in Lojban.

While it was not part of the annual meeting I want to note that we managed
3 IRC sessions of multihour length, entirely in Lojban, and involving
people who a year ago were not Lojban speakers.  .o'acai

I have logs of at least two of the sessions and will post them, but not today.

I will be contacting those of you who I know to be linguistics people
working in semantics (tell me if you are not sure I know) about an idea we
have that might gain stature for Lojban in linguistics research.  I'll wait
till someone competent but not present at our heady middle of the night
discussions before I publically put my foot in my mouth on this list.  But
it's a doozy %^)
