No. "bu" after a letter turns it into another, presumably related, 
letter: "kybu" is Q, "vybu" is W, "abubu" is (I think) @.

I ran into the same problem in Alice. "abu za'ure'u" had to be changed 
to "abuboi za'ure'u".
