I wish that group had a less inflammatory title than "English is
stupid, I'm learning Lojban".

I can like Lojban without having to think that English is stupid,
can't it? That's like the irritating Esperanto advocates who say,
"Don't learn <language>, learn Esperanto instead!" -- you can learn
Esperanto *and* Lojban *and* English *and* <language>, can't you?

 
Perhaps you're right, but the title isn't meant to be taken so seriously (did you see the fun little poem in the group description?). Perhaps "silly" is how the word "stupid" is meant to be taken. I just meant to appeal to people using lojban's most prominent feature: logic.
