Actually, it is a grammatical utterance. It is a valid response to a
"ji" question:

A: mi ji do prami la .lojban.
B: .e

Without a Lojban version of the question, it's hard to tell.

A: xu do tavla fi lo nu gasnu lo nu sance kei .a lo nu finti lo stecmi
(Are you talking about doing audio and/or making the entries?
B: go'i (Yes, that's what I'm talking about.)

A: pau do tavla fi lo nu gasnu lo nu sance kei ji lo nu finti lo
stecmi (Are you talking about doing audio, or about making the
entries?)
B: .e (Both. I am talking about doing audio and about making the entries.)
