I have the jbofihe data.  It has everything we need to automatically
generate short versions of all the gismu places, and IMO all the
stuff we need for the full gismu stuff as well.

Robin, have you even looked at the Google doc to which I consistently refer? All that has already been done. Column 'J' of page 'items' of document tinyurl.com/smartfmgismu has the jbofi'e phrases for all of the sumti-fied gismu, and the official definition from the gismu list for the plain gismu. What's needed is for {lo prenu} to go through the list and make the definitions, for lack of a better phrase, more humanly understandable.

http://packages.debian.org/source/squeeze/jbofihe -- the relevant
files are extradict places.dat patterns, and "man smujajgau"
explains the format, if you have it installed.

I'll see about coming up with complete data files shortly.
