I agree with this interpretation of vanbi/va'o.
It is a good argument that we already have tcini
for the other (less useful) interpretation, but
also there are a lot of gismu that have an intrinsic
"under conditions" place that has to be understood
as hypothetical conditions. I would prefer that
those gismu not have that explicit place though.
