[lojban] micro-poem
li ci no cu se djedi so'o masti .u'e nai
ro lo drata matne citka
cau le dzena pe la .biuik.
For those of you going "WTF?", it's a variant on the children's
rhyme for the number of days in various months. As usual with my
poetry translations, it's edited for scansion rather than meaning,
although in this case what I was translating is nonsense, so it
works out well. :)
The original:
30 Days hath September,
April, June, And November
All The Rest Have 31,
Except February [various options here, not relevant]
The joke variant:
30 Days hath September,
April, June, And No Wonder
All The Rest Eat Peanut Butter
Except Grandma, She Drives A Buick
Had a random urge to translate.

Lojban (http://www.lojban.org/): The language in which "this parrot
is dead" is "ti poi spitaki cu morsi", but "this sentence is false"
is "na nei". My personal page: http://www.digitalkingdom.org/rlp/
