coi rodo I've been working on a project for a couple of weeks, mostly for myself, but it might be useful for the community. It's a dictionary, created in LaTeX. In order to do it, I wrote a python script, that receives an xml (the one that can be exported from jvoblaste). The idea is that with this, is going to be easy to re-use the script for a dictionary in other language. Actually, I started with the dictionary in spanish, and then I created the english one. I started with this because I used the one created by ambershadow a lot; it is great, and was my inspiration. However, I wanted to modify some things, but I didn't know how he did it, and I couldn't contact him. And the one that can be exported from jbovlaste is good, but not good enough. So, I created a dictionary with: - A nice and clean (I think) format to display the words and their definitions. - Lojban - English and English - Lojban, this last one with support for the "in sense of", and place structures. If a gloss word has a place structure 2, the valsi associated with it is "se VALSI". - Fully cross-referenced and bookmarked. TODO: - I want to put the IPA representation in each word, since I can do it automatically. - Dictionaries in other languages (I'll need help with this). You can download the dictionary here: http://github.com/leosmolas/pyvlacku in the download section. You can also fork it ;) the soft is all under GPL, and the pdf under CC (more details on the pdf) I hope you like this! mu'o mi'e leos -- My lojban journal: http://learninglojban.wordpress.com My personal blog: http://leomolas.tumblr.com
