I'm a big fan of pimsleur audio courses for rapid language
acquisition, and would love to help design or record several for
lojban. These recordings have some general principles:

Intended for one lesson per day
Lessons roughly half an hour long
Cover about 15 new concepts (words or grammar rules) per lesson
Graduated recall to introduce new vocabulary and reinforce grammar rules
Explanations in the native language
Heavy use of situational dialogue (acting out a story) in the target language

Generally, the introductory lesson introduces how to strike up a
conversation with a stranger in the target language. Is there any
best-practice vocabulary/material already around for this topic?
