[lojban] Lojban Kids Show - connecting the tubes

The two tubes have to be at least 32 km apart to keep the mirrors from hitting
each other, and that's if they're never quite fully open and any maneuvers
involving spinning the two tubes at different speeds are scheduled for times
when the mirrors are at least 2/3 closed. (When the mirrors are fully open,
their tips will be accelerating at 81g, or 794 m/s². How we'll keep them from
flinging off into space, I don't know.) This means there's a corridor at
least 32 km long, possibly 64, at each end of the tubes. Vehicles of some
sort travel from one tube to the other, carrying stuff and people between the
two tubes. The docking station is in the middle of one of these corridors,
the one closer to the Sun, I think. So when Alpha and Beta arrive, they take
one of these corridor cars to the tube, and go down the elevator to Beta's
town.
