[lojban] A fantastic new learning platform!

I have recently re-stumbled upon a website which was suggested to me
when I was still interested in learning Japanese (and had the will to
put effort into learning it). http://lang-8.com/ is a fantastic
learning platform wherein users blog in the language they would like
to learn, and speakers of that language can correct these blog posts
for grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. This seems like a fun and
interactive way to help new people in the Lojban community learn how
to properly employ grammatical concepts in the language as they learn
them through our new learning materials and IRC lessons. I've already
encouraged several people to sign up and start blogging, and I've even
e-mailed the staff to ask for support for Lojban.

One unfortunate part of this is that the website design and UI is a
little bit difficult to get around, but once you've adjusted and
figured out where things are, it's actually quite fun. You may find
yourself correcting posts which are in English (or whatever other
languages you speak) as well.

So head on over to http://lang-8.com/ and sign up for an account. You
can find me by going to Lang-8 Contents > Lang-8 Language Match >
Search: la .lindar. and then be sure to add me as a friend, and look
at my friends list to find other jbopre to befriend.
