One already exists. Well, it's actually part in Italian and part in Lojban.

The author's name is Pietro Viviani. The opera is called "Il viaggio
di Nocapisce". The fourth scene of the third act is in Lojban, the
rest in Italian. He composed it in 1999 and asked me to help him with
the Lojban lyrics and then sent me a copy of the libretto. In his
letter he said he was going to send it to a competition in Spoleto.

On page 34 there's a photograph of Pietro Viviani. No mention of Lojban though.

I had completely forgotten about this, had to search among old papers
to find the libretto.
