I thought you meant something like:

lisxra      x1=l1=p1 is a comics about x2=l2 by x3=l3=p3 to audience
x4=l4 on medium x5=p4     {lisri} {pixra}

to show how sumti were related. Anyway, I fully agree on the sumti positions.

I don't really understand the relationship between a lujvo and the
"underlying tanru". I should read CLL again (and agan, and again,
...).

In this case I don't think the tanru should be {lisri pixra} but
rather {lisri co pixra}. A comics is first of all a story which,
secondarily, is narrated by images.  I guess we can drop the rafsi for
{co} in the lujvo, can we?

If I understand what you mean the lojban defintion should be

ko'a lisri ko'e ko'i ko'o sep'io lo pixra zi'o vo'i ko'u

Not sure if i have to use {zo'e} or {zi'o} to indicate that x2 of
pixra is not used. I put {zi'o} but I be mistaken.
