Lord only knows!  But the general principle: if you have particular brodas (or something very like that) in mind, use 'le', still applies.  Otherwise use 'lo' but be sure they really are brodas (usually easy, because they are not yet particular things but mentioned only by their brodaness).  There are always some iffy cases, but we manage somehow.

Nice video.  But I am unclear about what you say about the veridicality distinction situation.  Is that distinction now optional?
