Well, the main point for me is: "If someone (me, anybody else,
whatever) works on jvs2, will I end up stuck with responsibility for
fixing it because everyone else hates what it's written in?", which
is exactly what happened with jvs1.
This was then further divided into two parts:
1. If I get a bee in my bonnet and start writing one myself, what
languages should I avoid?
2. Will there be other people to work on the Python/Flask thing
donri has secretly started, since I don't know Python?
The next step, basically, is for someone to actually go write
something. :) If you're interested, you might want to talk to
donri about what he's done so far.
