[lojban] Gaming achievement systems applied to Lojban learning
I've come across two fascinating TED Talks discussing how gaming
achievement systems can be applied to non-gaming subject matter to
stimulate the participant's interest greatly. One of my more immediate
thoughts was how this could be applied to language learning, and I
presumed that the tech-savvy Lojban community would find this rather
useful knowledge.

(One thing the speakers dance around saying, I think, is that the
rewards can't be self-imposed. They have to be from an external source
beyond your control. If you feel like you can break the system, or
change the reward system at your will, then it feels frivolous.)
