[lojban] Re: FA + (JA or JOI) + FA_or_BAI_or-other-modal-place-introducers
I'm very confused. But not very surprised ...
That's right, it is not part of my habits to talk or write english,
because I'm french, and seventeen moreover. And I can not speak
english around me. It is so frustrating and not helping learning at
all !
But this list which is the only very active, is in english, so I must
try.
Michael: you clearly understood what I meant to express with my poor
english.
But my use of {joi} in {mi fijoibai do jmive zei lifri} isn't
arbitrary : {joi} means "mixed-in-a-mass-with" so you split it into
{mi fi do bai jmive zei lifri}. {do} is in a place which meaning is a
mix of "fi'o jmive fe'u" and "bai". And so forth with other
connectives. There can be a distributive connection(logical
connectives), or not.
I think my construct can here be split into {mi joigi fi do jmive zei
lifri gi bai do jmive zei lifri}
But we have to decide(and I've an idee about the answer) : could
{jmive zei lifri fi do
bai do} be splited in two bridi linked with only a plain {.i}, with
{.ijebo} or even with {.iju'ebo}(I never never saw this form, but it's
grammatical however).
IMHO we should consider {.ijebo} to be the standart way of splitting
the new found way to connect FA and other FAs or BAI.
If you want the sens {bu'a bai da .i bu'a fo da} you should write
{bu'a baiju'efo da}
