Re: xml export of jbovlaste for GD and QD (Was: Re: [lojban] Re: Downloading a jbovlaste dict dictionary)

I won't do that.
First of all, I sometimes update jbovlaste dsl dictionary as jbovlaste is being continuously updated.
Secondly, if while using GoldenDict I don't want to look at let's say etymology I simply release the corresponding icon in the dictionary toolbar (in this case it's the button with the word "xa").
As for the other dictionaries the same logic applies. Sometimes i don't want to look at noralujv definitions, sometimes I hate jbo.wikipedia.org dictionary as I haven't been able to export it correctly ;-).
If all GoldenDict dictionaries are merged together how shall we determine the source of any given definition ?
Is it so difficult to simply unpack the whole zip file into GoldenDict folder ?

>Oh. Are people actually using quickdict? I kind of stopped development on it cuz it felt like it was at least stable enough that I wasn't embarrassed with it.

I currently use GD. But it doesn't have lujvo auto-splitting functionality. QD should be developed.

What do you mean ? What version of GD ? What operating system ? Which dictionary is broken ?
