No, that's the intent. It's supposed to look at the following
construction and erase back to a construction of the same type, or
even just the start of one.

Define "authoritative". The BPFK hasn't made any firm decision on what
SA should do, and CLL has more than one different descriptions of what
it is suppposed to do.

I don't think it needs to be grammatical, since the idea is that you
can correct mistakes with it. I think camxes does require them to be
Lojban words, but that's not necessarily the best idea.
