You can say ungrammatical/incorrect things in front of si and sa, and
si/sa will erase them.  You have to be careful when the mispronounciation
results in multiple words--you need to speak the correct number of
si or make sure that if you accidentally utter a word in a grammatical
class that is the same that you want to back up to that you include
the correct number of sa:

# correct:
  ro da borda si broda => ro da broda
# incorrect, requires two si:
  ro da boda si broda => ro da bo broda 

# correct:
  ro da borda sa do broda => ro do broda
# incorrect, requires two sa:
  ro da boda sa do broda => ro da bo do broda
