where the first is a stop or fricative and the second is "m" (the other 
syllabic consonants can't begin a rafsi). But that doesn't explain why I 
prefer "tolcliva" to "tolyli'a".

There is a word which has that form, except that the second consonant is 
not "m" but another syllabic consonant: "visnda". Should it be changed 
to "vi'unda"?
