IMO that's not a language issue but rather a social issue. The
response is either funny (rarely) or assholish (usually), depending
on the social context and the sort of people you're talking to, not
what language you're speaking in.
I would feel entirely comfortable responding to the second line with
{ko setca le stedu be do le nenri be le ganxo be do doi bebna .i
ju'o do djuno le se zu'edji be mi}
