Re: [lojban] lojban on dotsies!

i played around with alternatives for lojban; aside from changing z's representation and possibly adding characters for { . , ' }, i didn't see any great benefit from changing the lerfu corresponding to shapes.

I saw the same thing yesterday (on Chrome), so I asked the creator what the problem was. He said the font didn't have a specified character for "space" -- which wasn't a problem in some cases (Firefox didn't show boxes).

Anyway, he added a character for space, and reuploaded the font. If you clear your recent cache (and delete the font from your fonts folder, if you downloaded and installed it) and reload the page, it should look okay now. (And the bookmarklet should work fine too.)

I'm having fun reading English in Dotsies -- certain words create very memorable and aesthetically pleasing shapes. I'm going to practice some more and see if I eventually benefit from it.

I see rectangles where I expect spaces. The rectangles make it much harder to see the dots.

yet another lojban alphabet scheme...

dotsies.org - a font (.TTF) that maps the 26 english letters to 1x5 grid of dots--
the result is that words collapse into dense but recognizable shapes.
