Re: [lojban] How to say "..." in Lojban, and how to split a quote?

"Splitting" quotes:
.i «lu mi krici —sei lo prenu cu cusku— lo du'u ko'a broda li'u»

And {li'o [sa'e]} works for omitted text.

mu'o mi'e la selpa'i

I would hope that what I'm asking is obvious, but just in case, here's an example of both. I would guess that these both could be handled in the same way in Lojban:

Critic: "I would tend to believe, what with the current trend in popular music, the continued decline of record label power due to such things as iTunes, and various other factors, that the music industry is currently undergoing a complete overhaul. Whether this is a good thing or not probably depends mostly on whether you're a consumer, artist, or record exec."

"...": "I ... believe ... that the industry is currently undergoing a complete overhaul...."

Split quote: "I would tend to believe", said the critic, "what with the <blah blah not typing all that again>."

I'm not asking for a translation of that exact text, it's just something I made up on the spot to illustrate the question. I'm asking for how to do those /techniques/ in Lojban.
