A point of fact: Unless I am misinformed, or overgeneralizing from en.wiktionary.org, it is not fully duplicative of jbovlaste.
jbovlaste stores definitions of Lojban words, written in many languages. <lang>.wiktionary.org stores definitions of many languages' words, written in <lang>.
That is, jbo.wiktionary.org stores *definitions written in Lojban*, which is not the same thing as *definitions of Lojban words* except when those definitions are written in Lojban. en.wiktionary.org is a resource for English speakers to look up words, regardless of source language; jbo.wiktionary.org would be a resource for Lojban speakers to look up words.
Reviewing <http://jbo.wiktionary.org/wiki/Special:AllPages> shows that the majority of words defined are Lojban words; however, there are a few from other languages. (There are also several Lojban-word-named articles which contain non-Lojban text, presumably definitions; this is, to my understanding, not appropriate content.)
Regardless of the above, I agree that jbo.wiktionary.org does not seem like something we should fight to keep; I see it as a "secondary" resource to Lojbanists whereas I think we have a shortage of "primary" resources — texts written in Lojban and other non-meta usage of Lojban.
