As a person living the last half of my life in St. Louis, must ask for what purpose is someone offering to import a Lojbanist? There are at least three reasonably active folks here already (or were the last time I checked), none of whom have been invited, as far as I can tell.

some time in the last couple of weeks I posted a request for a lojban panelist at Archon in October. The person from LA was the only one who responded. Archon generally only funds travel (and even full memberships) for Guests of Honor so bringing someone in from out of town. Archon is a great time in general and membership for the weekend includes free beer!
