I suggested brivla because each Pokemon is basically a seperate species, and there exist many of each. You can say "I caught a Pikachu" just like you say "I bought a cat". In addition to that, brivla are less cumbersome, as they don't require dots around them, while you can still use them as names if you want, using {la}.
