You need one more case:

"rotates either clockwise or counterclockwise"

zo'e usage suffices:

{ti gutni}

ti is thus rotating, but I have not stated the direction. If it is obvious from context, then the direction is that. If it is not obvious from context, then the direction is unimportant.
