[lojban] Definition of simxu (was: Re: [lojban-beginners] Re: Where should I use sets and where should I use masses?)

I guess a separate thread in the main group is more appropriate for discussing
the definition of {simxu}. I think it is valid and desirable to
collect different possibilities
and examine their pragmatic usefulness and limitations.

The ideas collected here should be eventually posted on the wiki.
