How many hours approximately will it take to finish the current LaTex project that everyone is waiting for? It seems like nothing can really happen until it's done. If an hour estimate could be made, then it would also be possible to find out how much money it would take to pay for this amount of work hours. I think it would be useful to know.

I think paying people for doing things that nobody else would do is legitimate. Probably none of us is rich, but that's why we're a community, it adds up.

If the choice is between waiting another 10 years for the next official version of Lojban and paying some money to get it done much faster, the decision is easy for me.

So, Robin, could you give us some numbers?
