In the booklet "What is Lojban?", the letterals are listed in this order:
' , . a b c d e f g i j k l m n o p r s t u v x y z
I assume a child would learn the lojban alphabet in a different order.
Presumably, the "punctuation" characters would come last, similarly to
how e.g. the three special vowels in Swedish come last in the alphabet
(å, ä, ö). I think it'd be a little odd if a child were to go ".y'y .i
denpa bu .i .abu .i .ebu .i li'o..." :)
So perhaps there could be another "educational" order, which would then
also be used in the alphabet song (c'mon, every language needs an
alphabet song!).
