Re: [lojban] sei

When a metalinguistic aside is begun with "sei", how do you know when it ends?

A {sei} phrase automatically ends once it sees a selbri, but it also has a terminator {se'u}. The benefit of this restriction is that {se'u} is almost never needed, unless you have to prevent a tanru and can't use any other means to prevent it.

The general syntax of a {sei}-clause is:

sei [any number of terms] [selbri] se'u

If you want to add sumti after the selbri, you can still do so using {be}, since {broda be ko'a [be'o]} is still just a selbri.
