Is it possible to insert Google Maps or iframes into articles in the Lojban Mediawiki (http://mw.lojban.org)?

I wanted to put a Google Map of world Lojbanists in an article:

But I don't think the Mediawiki can do that right now. I believe it needs either a Widget capability, an iframe capability, or a Google Maps extension.

I think this looks like the right thing:

http://www.mediawikiwidgets.org/Google_Maps

Which means this extension would need to be installed: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Widget

Does this sound like a good idea?
