You can have both "ce'u" and "makau" in ka. For example:

lo nanmu lo ninmu cu frica lo ka ce'u ma kau na'o dasni
"Men and women differ in what they typically wear."

lo va botpi cu rirci lo ka ce'u ma kau vasru gi'e ku'i fadni lo ka ma
kau ce'u tarmi
"That bottle there is unusual in what it contains, but ordinary in
what shape it is."

"ce'u" can usually be translated to English as "they" (or I/you/he/she/it).
"makau" can usually be translated as "what" or "who".
