Jbovlaste uses vlatai (part of the no-longer-maintained jbofi'e suite) to
decide whether a word is valid. Jbofi'e has some bugs (it does not accept
"martio", "prilio", "madjio", "djunio", "djulio", or "damskrima", the last
being someone's attempt at "eskrima" or "dambrskrima") and some disagreements
with camxes (it does accept "tarksako")
Camxes accepts "ried" but not "cried" as a syllable. Thus "bacriedgo" is
syllabified as "bac, ried,go", but "criedgo" fails. The rules are looser for
cmevla; camxes accepts "kriofl" but rejects "kriofla". (Which annoys me a bit,
as I use the stuff in my henna mix and don't know what else to call it in
Lojban. Camxes doesn't accept "kri'ofla", because it's a slinku'i.)
I had an argument with Nick Nicholas years ago. I said "fasxolarto", thinking
at the time that "rkt" within a word was invalid, and he didn't recognize it,
but would have recognized "fasxolarkto". When I wrote valfendi, I considered
"fasxolarkto" valid. Camxes considers it invalid.
Another corner case is "aierne". I suggest "ai'erne" as a camxes-compatible
variant.
Pardon, so to say in short do you mean that camxes is not the standard?
