Pierre then followed on by actually producing a working script which
appears to have fixed the problem!  \o/

So awesome to have someone actually help with what I say I need
around here!  :D

, and for my own future reference the sql dumps, script, and
before/after diffs are at /srv/jbovlaste/cikre_script_backup on the
web server.
