Yes, I can make sense of this.  He is saying that the one thing that confounds translation software is the heavy use of synonyms of words, but use of the most basic words would make translation much easier.  Therefore we should, by agreeement we should use only the most basic words when composing documents that we expect would be automatically translated, such as captioning for videos.

That being said, the problem is the exact oposite. Words that are ore unusual are less likely to have multiple and/or ambiguous definitions, and therefore the easiest to translate automatically.  That's why the earliest successful translators worked on specialized domains like technical journals.

Hm, that's too bad. Simple English Wikipedia is really a good source. Is it really harder to translate it to Lojban compared to normal English Wikipedia?
Of course if we use only specific terms we can make thousands of new fu'ivla and relex articles into such fu'ivla-intensive Lojban but this policy is definitely not what Lojban aims for slowly changing from syntactically regularised to both syntact. and semantic. regularised language.

Greeting,

I found that the problem of jammers when we translate origin text to another language by computer software because of that the origin text use synonyms, but if they use the most common word for the origin text the software can translate it without another offort clear completely to any language, so i.g. for video should be agreement to attach file of origin text in English by most common word only, then the user can have translating software free from Internet and translate it to any language he prefer...
