So, back to the question of in what sense Lojban is a logical language.  The most that this paper suggests is that the surface structure (sorry, it still is the handiest terminology) of an utterance most transparently reflects the underlying structure of the semantic base.  More or less wat people have always said when pressed, although the nature of the base has moved considerably since 1955.
