gejyspa has the point. Both interpretations makes sense.
The only problem that arises with sumtcita is that default values for sumtcita uses not as sumtcita are not clearly defined in the dictionary.
Another place where we have no formalisation.

I would assume it's like ZAhO, that is, {broda nau ko'a} == {nau broda ca ko'a}, i.e. "broda at the time of this utterance which by the way is ko'a."
