The Esperanto word is a made-up "Mangxtuloj". In Saweli-Sprat I'm using "Majrozat" ('malaltuloj' - short people).

Well, "munch" as in "chew", which is {marxa}. I didn't want to just transcribe the word directly. In the German translation they also have a name that is very close to one that would mean "Chewers". And the Munchkins always move their jaws around as if they were chewing.

The name might have a different origin according to this Wikipedia article[1], and it's hard to tell what's really true.

I might turn it into a zi'evla if a good one presents itself.
