I'm going back home.Actually, I was just wondering b/c I was reading about attitudinals and having a hard time imagining there is enough phonological "space" to be very clear when speaking, e.g. mishearing .u'o as u'u takes one from courage to repentance. That's a big difference in meaning for such a small phonological shift. I wonder about this with much of the language, but it stands out here in particular.You can put the stress on {o} in {.u'o} but you must put a pause after {.u'o} so it will all be {.u'O.} This makes recognition easier.--
